How do I remove Office update from the unrelated MS Windows update

I use Office 2003 retail I have never and will never add any updates to that
package and have opted to do this until next release. I do not do service
packs on Office, never have. As such, I have NEVER had a problem until today
when for some unknown and unauthorized reason MS decided to Link Windows and
Office together with the auto update system. Now I am unchecking office
service pack and outlook spam filter information that MS considers Critical
updates that I do not want. Yet they will not allow me to ignore those
updates. This has forced me to turn off all auto updates completely in my
personal computer, and manually install what I want. I never asked for this
treatment, nor did I ask for an update to office software. If need be I will
simply remove office 2003 and go back to my previous version of office 2000,
or even better open office.

If this is not removed from Automatic updates and returned to its optional
Office Update functionality, I will be forced to inform every client of
further antitrust actions on the part of Microsoft with this unauthorized
intrusion of personal systems, and recommend a complete and total removal of
MS Office software from the university systems. I'm sure Star office or Open
office will be more then happy to fill its place. As if this is happening on
my home machines I can only imagine what is happening at my place of business
tonight as the servers update. And when the accounting programs suddenly
stop working because of your forced updates to Office (which your current SP
does not work with by the way) I WILL be recomending to my clients to file
suit against Microsoft as you are 100% responsable. NOT I.
