how do i remove overtype and auto scroll.

I absolutlly hate it when i try to put my cursor at the middle of a sentence
and when i type it erases the data ahead of it. and when i go to pick a menu
option my screen automaticlly starts to scroll. is there any way of changeing
these two options for onenote 2003

The Insert key on your keyboard will turn overtype on/off.

I'm not really clear what you mean by the second one. What kind of machine
is this; Tablet? Desktop? Laptop? What do you mean by your "screen starts
to scroll"? If you click "File" your screen starts scrolling?
