How do I remove task from project server 2002

Dear all,
I am a newbie with project server and I use version 2002.

I've tried to publish project with tasks which already assigned resrouce to
project server and everythis is ok. But when I've try to remove resource to
all tasks and re-publish it. I've found that all previous tasks still be
assigned to my staffs (resource).
Why?

And other questions

Can I remove project from Project Server 2002? If I can, please tell me how.
Can I Remove task from Project Server 2002? and... yes, if I can, how?
