how do I remove the "0" in front of a decimal point?

befuddled

I'm trying to construct a correlation table, but every time I put in a value
that is not statistically significant a "0" pops in front of the decimal when
I press enter. Is there a way to stop this? I'm finding excel very easy to
use otherwise. I'd hate to start all over again.

Thanks,
Lynda, the befuddled
