How do I remove the format lines of a template resume?

I am trying to email a resume I made using one of the templates.
Unfortunately, the gray lines of the cells show up on the email--which I am
trying to send to an potential employer. How do I turn these off?

You don't have complete control over how the document will appear to another
user on another computer. Table gridlines you can switch off via the Table
menu; but in the end it's up to the person at the other end how the document
is displayed (and some users choose really appalling combinations of
settings). Better to send a PDF.
