How do I remove the possessive suggestion in spelling checker?

When I spell a plural word incorrectly (i.e., " requsts " instead of "
requests "), the autocorrect often doesn't change the word to " requests "
because it's not sure whether I want " requests " or " requests' ". I use
the possessive form so infrequently that I'd rather it change the word to the
plural form automatically.

Any suggestions?

I don't think there's any way to accomplish this short of just creating
AutoCorrect entries for the plurals you misspell most often. To do this
easily, when you right-click on a misspelled word and get the correction
suggestions, instead of choosing one, select AutoCorrect from the shortcut
menu, then the appropriate suggestion; this creates an AutoCorrect entry
automatically.
