How do I remove Word 2002 from a WinXP pro system

How do I remove Word 2002 from a WinXP pro system to install Office 2003.
The Control Panel "install/uninstall" does not contain Word. It shows up
only under Start/Programs. Can I just overlay the two diffwerent versions of
word?

If you got Word 2002 as part of Microsoft Works Suite, then modify your
installation of of Works Suite by clicking on Start | Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Works Suite | Change | Add/Remove Features,
and set the Word 2002 feature to "not available".

You can install Office 2003 over Word 2002. It should replace the former
installation and update your settings from that installation.
