How do I reopen Quick Parts, in Word 2007, its closed and won't op

More information is needed. What exactly is not working? What are you trying
to do? What are you seeing? What happens when you try?

Herb, first Thanks for responding:
I began using the Quick Parts, on the Insert Tab to reuse information in the
document I am creating. At first, it worked well. I would select the data I
wanted to use at a later time in other documents and the feature would
collect the data, and I would reuse the same data over and over. Just
recently, when I went to access the feature (QP) it would not Open. It
openned in the past with a drop down menu, and I could see all the labled
data I had included in Quick Parts, but now when I access the feature, all I
get is the Block Builder organizer, Field, Document Properties, and the "Save
Selection to Quick Part Gallery" is unavailable.
-- I added the Auto-Text to my quick toolbar and I now get the drop-down
menu, but my data is loss. How can I retrive the original drop down menu in
the Quick Part feature?

It sounds like your building blocks.dotx file might have gotten corrupted.
In Windows XP, it would usually be stored here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Microsoft\Document
Building Blocks\1033\

In Vista, it's usually here:

C:\Users\Herb\Application Data\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033

With Word not running, if you rename Building Blocks.dotx, (which means
you'll lose your current/saved items), does that restore the ability to
create and display quick parts in the QP dropdown, etc.?
