how do I repeat a background colour?

I've chosen a perfect background colour for the front page, and now realise I
want the exact same one for the back page.

If I click on the front page and go to background, the colour isn't
identified. ie the "current colour" doesn't show up.

I can't even do it the long-winded way by writing down the 3 colours, as I
can't see what they are.
