How do I reply to a Plain Text message in my preferred HTML font?

L

Lookseeau

When replying to or forwarding a Plain Text email message, my font defaults
to the Plain Text font (Consolas, Regular 11.5) despite the facts that I have
selected HTML, and have established my preferred font and colour in the
Tools, Options, ...Stationery & Fonts, Personal Stationery tab, Replying and
Forwarding Messages.
How can I get it to automatically choose my preferred font and colour when
replying to or forwarding Plain Text messages in HTML?

if you want to reply in html, you'll need to change the message format to
html. Outlook doesn't support changing all formats to html.

Outlook replies in the same format as the incoming message, so you must
change the format of that before replying to it. With the incoming message
displayed, on the Message ribbon, click Other Actions, Edit Message, Options,
HTML; then back to the Message tab and Reply.
