Using Word 2003
There are a couple of bugs I draw Microsoft's attention to however I have
found no way to report them.
1. When you select a group of files to open, print or insert into a
document the last file always opens, prints or inserts first and then the
rest of the files do whatever they are supposed to do in order. This did not
work this way in Word 2000.
2. When trying to convert a .doc file to a .tif file using third-party
software quite often all the text in the document will compress to the left.
This did not work this way in Word 2000.
It would be great if Microsoft had a way of reporting bugs so that the users
would know that Microsoft is aware of the problem and that they might be
working on a solution. This newsgroups is not really an effective way for
doing this.
