How do I report on ERD Entity Attribute Notes in Visio?

Notes is a predefined characteristic of Entity Attributes and can be edited
in Database Parameters, Category=Columns. How do I get this data & other
predefined characteristics out e.g. in a report? None of the standard reports
appear to support this, nor does the report creation wizard give me the
option to include these characteristics. I can work around it by defining a
custom property for this characteristic BEFORE STARTING THE ERD, but that
would mean duplicating the field. Any suggestions?
