How do I resolve sync client error with iphone?

Since the update on Tuesday, August 12th, I receive an error message
beginning with "OutlookSyncClient has encountered a problem and needs to
close." while syncing my iphone. I end up with a list of "no name" contacts
on the phone, which when selected/opened have no useable data in them. Has
anyone else encountered this problem, and have you been able to resolve it?

Have you asked Apple? Synching is the purview of the software used to sync - Outlook is not part of the equation, it is simply the data repository.

I cannot seem to find any online support for itunes. I am also having the
same troubles. I think there is a glitch with itunes 8. Has anyone
discoverd a fix for this problem?

synching iPhones and iTunes.
