How do I restore a deleted e-mail group?

I accidentally deleted a distribution list from my contacts. How do I
restore it from my deleted items folder to my address book?

You wouldn't. No data is ever stored in an "address book" in Outlook. You
just drag it back to your Contacts Folder.
