how do I restore default registry for word 2002?

Hi,
My system was affected by the trojan back door.
Now, Windows XP is unstable. Word 2002 opens with a blank dialog box, and
the program freezes. I have repaired Word and reinstalled- no change.
Someone told me to check the registry settings.
Can anyone tell me where to find Word 2002 normal registry settings, so that
I can compare these with the settings on my system?

Hi Julie,

Did you first try using Detect and Repair found under the Help menu in
any of the Office applications?

You are kidding, aren't you? Do you have any idea how many thousands of
Registry Keys you are talking about?

Have you tried running sfc /scannow to repair your Win XP system
files?
