How do I restore my office icons from ver 3.1 to Office xp Pro w/.

Since installing SP3 I have had a problem with my office icons. In the start,
program files, desktop and Windows Explorer all the icons have reverted to
ver 3.1 type icons. Has anyone got the method to completely remove Office so
I can reload?
