My Word 2007 document USED TO automatically underline links that it
recognized.
The first unwanted change was loss of the familiar underlining. At this
point, links STILL DID work. Upon mouse-hover, Word would offer to follow the
link via Control+click.
The most recent change was loss of the document recognizing hyperlinks to
URLs at all.
Links within document to Bookmarks, etc., do still work, thank God.
By now, I have no doubt that I unwittingly changed something, but cannot
find out how to restore this function. This despite having found this in the
Help:
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Word Options.
Click Proofing.
Click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
Clear the Internet and network paths with hyperlinks check box.
Obviously, this SHOULD work, but alas, does not.
Thanks for any help that may be forthcoming.
