How do i retain WORD outline structure when importing to OneNote?

Scenario: 1) I create a magnificent outline using margins in MS Word 2003 2)
Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy, and then 3) try to paste the outline into
OneNote. Upon import to OneNote, the outline sturcture is lost and only get
one column with no outline structure save for the numbers and letters
accompanying each line.

Is there anyway to preserve the outline structure upon import to OneNote
from Word?
