How do I retreive deleted outlook 2003 address book

I have deleted some of my contacts in my outlook 2003 address book and I
don't know how to retreive them.
Can you help??

Look in your Deleted Items Folder. If they are not there, then they have been permanently deleted.

reading.

After furious head scratching, bondzoe asked:

You cannot properly manipulate your contacts via the address book interface
because it contains no information. It is a view of the electronic
addresses in those COntacts folders that you have enabled as address books.
If you delete an entry in the address book, all that will do is remove the
E-mail field from the corresponding contact. If you want the address back,
you'll need to open the contact record and type it in again.
