How do I retrieve existing Outlook files for new installation?

I had a trial version of MS Office 2007, and now have Office XP installed,
but i can't figure out how to reconfigure my Outlook to retrieve the data I
used in 2007 version.

You cannot, because the default format data files created by 2007 can only
be read by Outlook 2003
2003 & 2007 create unicode data files, by default, earlier versions of
Outlook cannot read these data files.

So even though the patch I downloaded worked for all the other Office
programs, it won't work for Outlook?

Patch? I assume you mean the Compatibility Pack, afraid Not
