How do I reverse the wheel zoom action in Visio

K

KB7GP

My SolidWorks and other CAD applications zoom in when I roll the mouse wheel
backwards and zoom out when I roll the wheel forward. Similar to pulling the
view closer or pushing it away. Visio is the only "CAD" application I have
which is "backwards" (to me). How can I reverse this action?

this from the help facility on visio

Note You can change the default behavior of the IntelliMouse wheel from
scrolling to zooming on the General tab of the Options dialog box. For more
information about changing options and to view troubleshooting tips for the
Microsoft IntelliMouse pointing device, see the IntelliPoint Online User's
Guide.

Found that one, Thanks... I'm trying to "reverse" the rotation action. Roll
back to zoom in and roll forware to zoom out. Right now it's opposite all my
other CAD applications. Real clumsy to use when going from example,
SolidWorks to Visio.
Thanks though for the response.

Very odd, to me the Visio way is correct. All the graphics software I
use is of the same orientation, rotate forwards to zoom in.

I know whay you mean KB7GP, unfortunately I don't think it's something you
can change. What gets me is when you click the wheel to move the document
around. I'm used to my cursur "grabbing" the document and moving it, not
dragging in the direction I want to go.

I guess this post isn't much help, but I feel your frustration!
