How do I run "Missing DATA1.MSI" when installing Office 2007?

[Outlook 2007 with DATA1.msi missing]

Outlook 2007 within Office 2007 keeps asking for "DATA1.MSI" and I dont have
the file. Where is the file for download or a resolution?

Data1.msi is not an Office 2007 file. It is an Office 2000 file. If you are
seeing this then either you also have Office 2000 installed, or upgraded from
Office 2000, or somehow office 2000 is involved.

Can you check for and uninstall if found any versions of office 2000?

I found Microsoft Office 2000 SR1 and tried to uninstall it but it gives me
the same message. So I couldn't uninstall it. Now what?

Please download the windows installer cleanup utility from here..

Install it.
After the install, Run the program.

Choose Office 2000 on the list of installed programs, and click remove.

That will effectively remove Office 2000.
