How do I run simultaneous animations in Power Point?

I am converting a PP narrated animated presentation into a DVD movie with
Camtasia Studio and Sony Vegas DVD Platinum. I have one last item to
complete. The PP introduction slide has an embedded 60 second Audio Video
file that I want to sync with the animated title text (Wipe). Presently, the
Audio Video FOLLOWS the text animation. How can I run the AV and the text
animation simultaneously?

If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, set the text effect's "Start:"
to "With Previous".

The text is 5 lines long. When I set "With Previous", only the first line of
text "wipes", then the AV file starts. The remaining text lines "wipe" after
the AV is finished. I would like one text line to follow another, and sync
with the audio portion of the playing AV file.

If you look at the animation list for the text, does only the first
animation show? If so, is it followed by a grayish bar with a down arrow? If
so, click that bar and you will see the animations for the other lines.
Select those and change them to with previous as well. Post back and let us
know if that works better.

I got it to work! You must add the start time for each "wipe" line based on
the time from the very first "wiped" line, not the prior line!
