What is the easiest way to save an existing Visio document in PDF format?

the easiest is to install the adobe product (not the reader) and follow the
instructions that come with the product.

There are also some free PDF writers. With Adobe and the other PDF writers,
they pretend to be a printer and you create a PDF file from Visio by writing
to one of these printers.
