how do I save a word 2007 file to work on word 4.0 mac?

I did some extensive work in Word 2007 for a person who uses a Mac. How do I
convert these files so he can use, edit, etc. on his Mac computer? PLEASE
HURRY WITH AN ANSWER. Thanks. Linda

Save it as Word 97-2003 format or RTF.
