How do I save a word doc in high resolution

I have a word document with a graphic in it and some shapes made from Word.
When printed there were cloudy lines around the graphics and the writing. I
was told I need to save the file in a high resolution. How do I go about
doing this? Thanks.

Often, when something prints as you have described, it is because a clear
white background you see on te screen is not true white but a very lighh
colour not distinguishable from white.

Have you got access to the original graphic? Can you load it into a graphics
prgram and make sure the he background really is white before copying it back
into word?
