How do I save a Word file to CD-RW?

I have a Word file I want to save to CD-RW. When I try to save the system
tells me it's an invalid function. What do I do?

Save it on your HD first and then copy it to the CR-RW like any other
file you put there.

Never, never, never save a file directly to a CD. Or open one directly from
a CD. Or a floppy, or any other sort of removable storage.

Always copy files to/from your hard disk.
