How do I save as JPG grayscale in Vision 2003 (grayscale dimmed)

Unlike Visio5, save as JPG in Visio 2003 won't allow selection of anything
other than baseline and RGB color translation (all else dimmed). Need
grayscale translation for file size reasons. Is this a filter limitation or
do I need to change some obscure configuration parameter?
