How do I save changes of fields coming from extern datasources

Hello all,
I am totally new in infopath so I hope my question is not so stupid:

I added severall fields, rising from a sharepoint-list (secondary
datasource).
Now I want to save the changes I did with the entrys. Is there a way to save
the changes in this formular (or directly back to the source)??

Some questions for you to see if I understand it correctly

You get Data From SharePoint List
This data you put on the screen?
The user can update the data on the screen
When Submit, you like to send the updates to the SharePoint List

1.Is this correct?

2. Do you work with SharePoint List or Libraries?

Hello,

Do you want save SharePoint list populated values in your form? In this case
you have to write the code to save those list values in your form.

Do you want to update the InfoPath forms whichever updated value in
SharePoint list?
