I have scanned images saved as jpeg files. I'm trying to resave them into
Adobe as .pdf files. How can I do this?

you need to download something from adobe.... can't remember it offhand, just
google your problem. but basically once you've downloaded this from adobe
you just 'save as' the file and you should be able to select .pdf.

No you dont download anything from Adobe, they only supply the free Adobe
Reader, which cannot create pdf files. To create pdf files you either need
to buy Adobe software, or use one of the many free pdf creater apps

You need to put the images into a program that'll allow you to arrange and
format them to your taste. That might be Word, PowerPoint, Publisher or some
other app entirely.

Then you need to print the document containing your images to a printer
driver that makes PDF files. This might be Adobe's PDF driver or one of the
other less expensive or even free ones.

There's a list of some of them here:

If you have Office 2007, download the free Save As PDF Addin from Microsoft
and use it to make the PDF from your Word or PPT document.
