You didn't mention the version of Powerpoint you're using
but you can select the slides and use File=>Save As and
select the JPEG file type.
For Powerpoint specific questions you may want to use the

I need to save a few power point slides (from a show someone else sent me) as
jpeg files, so that I can save single items to my hard drive. How do I do
this? Any ideas?
