How do I save specific Outlook e-mail files to a CD?

You don't really need to do that - you could export the folder to a PST
and then burn that to a CD...

You have several options. One is to drag those messages to a Windows folder
(createing .msg files), stop Outlook, and burn the folder contents to a CD.
If you're using a PST, another option is to stop Outlook and burn the PST to
a CD. There are other ways as well.
