I am creating an invite in Word and I am using a pasted picture. When I use a
text box to create the wording it does not save. When I cut and pate the
picture with the text box I can not view the text.

Please help.

Are you specifying text wrapping of say 'behind text' for your picture and
then specifying 'no fill' & 'no line' for your text box.

Take a look at www.drawingwithword.com and find your way to text wrapping -
hopefully it will help

Hello and thank you for you advise. I am doing everything mentioned but when
I cut and paste the picture the text is lost. It seems they are not locked
together.

Please help.

Thanks!

By default they are *not* locked together... they're simply stacked one on
top of the other. You need to select both the text box & the picture at the
same time (select one then Shift+Click the other). It might also be a good
idea to Group them before copying or cutting (Rt-Click the selected objects
then choose Grouping> Group in the contextual menu).
