How do I scan my Network with Visio

Hi All,

Can any remind me how to get Visio to document a network
by scanning the network. I remembered some time ago that
Visio has this feature, but I can't find it in the
current versions. The Visio Online Help didn't helt
neither.

Microsoft informs me that the discovery tools are no longer available. I've
been told you may be able to find the software by scrounging around, but it
won't be compatible with Visio 2003.

IT admins are still in mourning... : (

That is indeed a very discouraging news. The very thought
of it if you have to maintain a global network, having to
draw all that with the hand? I thought MS wants to make
life easier for us!

Thanks Randall, I will look for other tools available.

Yeah, I found it very distressing to say the least. We need to bombard them
with our displeasure.
