What is the best way to provide a user form in access that allows
entering a few pieces of information and then providing a way from
within the form to let the user scan an image into the table? Also,
are there any gotchas or tips for storing large numbers of images in a
database? Is it possible to put the code in one db and have multiple
(possibly linked) dbs for the images, perhaps one db for each year?
There are probably about 5000 pages (8.5x11 in) that need to be stored
for each year, preferably in a resolution that can be printed out. We
are trying to store some old paper forms as images where it is too
expensive to actually convert the forms to data as they will rarely be
accessed and a few simple data fields will suffice for lookup.
Thanks,
Randy.
