How do I search in multiple public folders at once?

Our company has many public folders. These are used so that all network
users can view them. Their contents are entered by many diferent users.
There needs to be the ability to search for any criteria in mulitple or all
public folders. I have not been able to find a way to search all or multiple
folders (i.e., subfolders) in the public folders area.
