how do I search my outlook folders

I run Outlook 2007 and have many folders. How do I search my folders for a

Ummm. Let's see. At the top right-hand side, under the menu bar, there's a
box that says "search all mail items". Have you tried that? Or if it's a
Contact you want, open Contacts and do the same.
Possibly?
