I have created 5 different appointment forms for me team and they are
published in a public folder. However, the forms cannot be seen or accessed
through the folder. They have to go through the 'Forms - Choose af
form--Appointment forms' path to see and run the form.
How can I make the form be seen and accessible from the public folder?
If you are going to publish them to the public folder, then that is how you
have to access them, out of the box. I have no idea how you would code a
different access. I suspect that you are talking about an Exchange event
process--which is no easy task.
You really should be publishing your forms to the Exchange Forms Library, so
that every one can access them automatically. You can then just run a macro to
open the form and have it linked to the public folder.
I have what I call an "Action Form" that I open from a macro, which then picks
up all the new messages of a particular category in a selected directory,
serially processes the messages,(converting them to a Word Doc which I save as
a .mht file, attaches the .mht file to a new message that is mailed to a
SharePoint mail enabled Document Library, so that the .mht file is
automatically loaded into the document library), and asks me if I want to save
it now that stuff has changed. I always say no, and it disappears. Within the
hour, the messages appear in my doc lib.
