The last company I worked at used MS project Server 03. I left a year
and a half ago and now my new company just installed MS Project Server
07. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it seems like in 03, I could go
to the resource center and see where resources were assigned for all
projects saved on the server. I'm planning a large project and
another person is planning a large data warehouse project that will
run pretty much concurrently. We will share many resources. We
haven't published the schedules yet. When I go to the resource
center, I can't see what these shared resources are assigned to on her
project so I can coordinate with her. Also, can't get it from the
analysis cube - the data isn't there either. In my last job, we used
the resource center to coordinate amongst project managers during
planning BEFORE we published the assignments and got approval. With
07, I guess you have no choice but to publish just so you can share
info? Is that true or is it just a problem with how they've set it up
here?
Thanks,
