How do I see the message behind the red "x" that is hidden?

In Outlook 2007, my e-mails do not allow me to see graphics. A white box
with a little red x in the left hand corner appears instead.

What can I do to see the graphics?

"It is a reg entry called BlockHTTPImages found at this
location: \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BlockHTTPImages
change the value 1 to 0 (zero) and it works"

Excellent, however I am on Vista Home Premium and cannot find the Registry
entry in \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\ or anywhere under
\Office. Any thoughts?

Try adding it.

Worth a try.

Can you please tell a dumbo what the entry should look like?

It's right there in the message to which you replied originally. You even
wrote it out yourself.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\BlockHTTPImages

Thanks Brian,

I misunderstood something ij concept but it became clear when I added the
new item with Regedit.

However, it hasn't done the trick. No images come down in some emails and
all come down in others.

I have also unchecked "Don't download pictures automatically ... " in
Outlook Trust Center.

Is there something else special in Vista Home Premium?

Any other thoughts?

Cheers
Robert
