Im doing some testing with the GFI Fax Maker before we introduce it to
our company. But I cant find anyway to send a fax without having to
open up a new Outlook Contact.

I've tried [fax:nnn-nnnn] even [fax:<nnn-nnnn>] but still no faxes are
going through.

Please can somebody advise??!!

DId you read the documentation? It says to address a fax message to the
address <number>@faxmaker.com in order to send the fax to the FAXmaker
server. I don't see why you'd need a contact for that.

Yes I did read it, did that most of the morning. Outlook responds by
saying it does not regconise the address. Which means I still need a
contact.

Sending to [fax:<nnn-nnnn>] is not the same as sending to <nnn-nnnn>@faxmaker.com. Outlook should recognize (e-mail address removed) as a valid email address.

Not at all. You need to set up the routing to the fax server properly.
It's in the documentation. I never heard of FAXmaker before you mentioned
it, but a quick perusal (about 15 minutes) of the docs indicates to me that
that is completely independent of Outlook and completely dependent on your
domain name service and mail routers.
