How do I send a lot of emails simply?

I need to be able to send a whole bunch of emails. I'd like a simple way to
do that. But I've got two simple requirements:

1) I don't want to compromise any recipient's privacy. (In other words, I
don't want the others who are receiving the email message to see anyone's
email address - except possibly mine and their own.)

2) I don't want to blind-carbon-copy (BCC) them, because that significantly
increases the odds of the email getting flagged as Junk mail or Spam.

Can this be done in Outlook? If not, what program(s) would I need in order
to accomplish this?

The only way of doing this without using BCC is a mail merge.....

Use mail merge. If you have Word, you can do it from word and outlook,
otherwise you'll need a utility. See

Look at the OP's moniker. Read their post and notice the complete lack
of mentioning his recipients want (opted into) his mailings. Per
condition 2, he knows his victims aren't whitelisting his, ahem,
"newsletters".

It's not our place to confirm the subscribers opted in and not all online
loan companies are scammers and spammers. (While I'm sure some spammers join
their chamber of commerce, most do not. The OPs company has.)

Diane has it right. What I want to do is keep in touch with my friends,
family, and past Clients. It would be inappropriate (not to mention,
unethical) to share my family's or my friends' or my clients' personal
contact information with others. And it's rather inconvenient for them to
have to become computer-savvy enough to figure out how to keep my emails out
of their junk-mail or spam-filter boxes. (I assume that's what you mean by
"whitelisting.")

Even if they tell me they want to receive my letters that doesn't mean their
email software knows their desires. I want to do what I can to make things
easy for them, without necessitating my sending out every letter individually
- as I've been in the habit of doing.

It appears the Mail Merge function is exactly what I'm looking for. And I
came here because it seemed like a good place to educate myself, and where
I'd likely get helpful, intelligent advice.

Gordon and Diane, please accept my big, grateful THANK YOU for your help.

And, yes, the (slowly growing list of) recipients of my letters ALWAYS have
the opportunity to opt out. After getting started over a year ago with
family and friends, all new recipients have had to opt in. I'm only
interested in keeping in touch with those who want to keep in touch with me.
