How do I send a message so it is received in color?

Periodically, I get e-mails from people that show up in a particular color
(usually red). I have no rule set up in my Outlook to turn e-mails from that
person or with that subject any particular color. It seems like it is
something the sender can do. How can I send an e-mail so that it shows up in
a particular color in the recipeint's mailbox?

The text of the message is in red, or the email line in your Inbox list?

You can't - that's a function of the RECIPIENT'S mailbox.....they have to
set that up if they so wish to do so...

Ok, that's something you've configured under Tools - Organize - Using
Colors.

You can't control that on other peoples systems, as Gordon pointed out.

If someone sends you a message that Outlook considers "overdue", it will
appear red by default. An overdue message is, I believe, one with a
reminder whose date has passed.
