How do I send an animated gif?

I am trying to send one within the body of an email. When I insert it, it
looses its animation. Thanks for help.

You have to send your email as HTML. If your recipient doesn't have HTML email
enabled the .gif will be an attachment.
Do a web page preview from file to see the animation.
