How do I send e-mail from Outbox

I received e-mail, then replied to same, adding a piece of text of my own,
pressed 'send' and the e-mail is now hanging in the Outbox, and does not
respond to either the send/recieve button, or when the full e-mail is once
again called up, I press 'send' again, and still it remains in the Outbox.
Very frustrating. Any ideas please as to how I can release the e-mail onto
the system?

There is much information missing in order to diagnose properly. Here are a
few questions:

Is this the first time you use this email account?
- If so, it is probably the email account configuration

If not, look at the following:

Is this the first time this happens to you?
- If so, try rebooting Outlook and trying again.

Is there a huge attachment? This can sometimes make the message hang.

Can you send other emails to other people?

I think once you answer these questions and provide more details, you'll be
able to get the help you need.
