How do I send slides from a powerpoint presentation to onenote?

I need to send a handout from a class, given in powerpoint format to my
onenote, so I can write comments beside each slide during the class.
I know it's possible, because I have a friend who does that.
In his computer, he opens the presentation with the powerpoint and then
selects "print" and "print to OneNote". Other options available would be the
format (handouts, slides...) and number of slides per page.
I have both software in the latest versions, and I would like to know why my
powerpoint does not offer me the option to "print to OneNote".
Thanks to you guys,

First, you must be using PowerPoint 2003 or Office 2003. Make sure you
have the Microsoft Document Imaging Printer installed. It does not
install by default.

In OneNote, not PowerPoint, Select Menu Insert, Menu item "Document as
Picture"

Well, Tim
That option does the job, but I still can't place each figure in a page in
OneNote automatically. Neither I have the option to select the figures to be
placed as a handout.
I would really like to know why I don't have the option "print to OneNote"
as a Tablet PC would have.
It would be so much easier...

Thanks, Kcumber

But I don't have a Tablet PC, therefore no Windows XP Tablet PC edition,
therefore no "Education Pack" available for me.
That's mainly what is holding me back.
The lack of a Education Pack for other XP editions...

You need to download the Microsoft education pack for tablet pc. One of the
features in that is "send to onenote." I use it all the time. One trick
I've learned is that if you just send to onenote the powerpoint slides come
through stretched. To get around this, in powerpoint I open the print window
then under print what:, I select "handouts" and then 2-3 slides per page.
They come across with their original shape and you have some lines out to the
side to write on.

Good luck
