How do I set a default colour to the connector tools in Visio?

I have not been using Visio 2003 for long and every time I use the connector
tools it defaults to a blue line, I then have to click on every single
connector and change them individually to black. Is there another way to
change the colour by default so when I use the connector tool it is already
black?

Two scenarios. If you are pulling the connector from a stencil then you can
change the color in the stencil. If you already have the connectors in your
drawing you can change the color by altering the copy of the connector that
is in the document stencil. I'm sure there are several others
