How do I set a standard shape size in Visio 2003

Im trying to design a set of work flowcharts. At the moment the basic shape
size is way too large and im having to change each shape size manually.
There must be a way to set the size of the basic shapes. Anyone know how?

You can change the size of the shapes on the local stencil and any copy of
that shape on the drawing will change.
