How do I set default text on reply and forward messages

I am using a auto Signature with my company logo attached on my messages.
For some reason the logo only shows up on messages formatted in Rich Text,
not Plain or HTML. When I hit Reply or Forward for a message I received,
because Outlook automatically responds in the orginal text, my logo doesn't
show up. The signature is there, but no logo. If I change the text manually
after the fact, it is too late. Again, the signature has been created, but
because the message is not in rich text, no logo. Is there a way to override
this automatic orginal text on outgoing replies and forwards, and set a
default to always go out in rich text?
