how do I set most recent entry as top page of OneNote as default?

everytime I create a new page or sub-page it defaults to the lowest in
heirarchy. I'd like to set it so that when I make an new entry, or transfer a
page from the unfiled folder, the latest pages or subpages are on the top of
the list rather than the bottom.

There is no feature for sorting pages in a chronological order.

Perhaps the "Table of Contents" PowerToy [1] might help a little.
It creates a new page with a table listing all page in descending
chronological order showing the date of creation and the last
modification.
